The mission of the department of mechanical engineering at ITA is to educate undergraduate and graduate students that will become prominent engineers and researchers working towards technological and scientific development. To reach that goal the department estimulates creativity and encourages students to participate in projects and laboratory activities. This effort aims at training high skilled human resources that are capable of fulfilling the country needs and the aerospace industry demands.
